Addon: Vampire Craft - Thirst for Blood
Vampire Craft: Thirst for Blood is a supernatural survival expansion built around three playable paths: vampire, werewolf, and hunter. Version 4.7.4 gives every path its own transformation, progression rules, abilities, enemies, and equipment, while blood thirst, skill altars, dangerous structures, and faction-specific characters change the normal rhythm of a survival world.

Choosing a Path

A Vampire Tooth can begin the vampire transformation. The item has a 50 percent chance to drop from a defeated vampire, while a direct bite can also infect the player with a lower probability. The change takes five minutes, and the Hunger effect shows how much time remains. Before the process finishes, a bucket of milk heated in a furnace can stop it.
Werewolves use a parallel system. A Werewolf Fang has a 50 percent chance to drop from a defeated werewolf, and a bite can also start the transformation. It takes the same five minutes and can be cancelled with hot milk. A transformed werewolf begins at rank I as a white Beta, advances to the blue Omega rank II, and finally reaches the black Alpha rank III. Defeating a werewolf above the player's current rank moves this progression forward.
Hunters are not merely hostile non-player characters. A human player can use a Garlic Syringe, complete a five-minute transformation, and select one of three affiliations. Church Hunters cooperate with priests, Royal Hunters serve the king, and Lone Hunters receive no faction benefits or orders. Lone Hunters can later mix their path with vampire or werewolf powers and use their ability to pass among humans.

Living with Blood Thirst
A vampire receives a separate thirst indicator above the ordinary hunger bar. Food cannot refill it. Blood can be taken directly from compatible creatures, or collected during a bite by holding a glass bottle. Bottles fill in several stages, and full bottles can also be found in generated structures.
When thirst reaches zero, the vampire becomes weaker, loses its temporary resistance bonuses, and cannot use supernatural abilities. Feeding is therefore a survival resource that must be managed alongside food, health, and equipment.

Blood Altar and Abilities
The Blood Altar controls the main skill progression. Vampires fill it with full blood bottles and activate it with a Vampire Tooth. Werewolves use Werewolf Livers and a Werewolf Fang. The altar then opens a screen with locked abilities and their requirements. Experience is required for both paths, while several werewolf skills additionally demand a specific rank.
Vampire abilities include Night Vision, Flight, Sun Resistance, Bat Servants, Rage, Teleportation, Invisibility, Regeneration, Ice Touch, reduced thirst, stronger blood drinking, defense, and sword mastery. Werewolf progression includes improvements to damage, health, speed, jumping, and regeneration, as well as Dodge, Bleeding, reduced hunger, daylight transformation, and stronger combat attacks. The skill item granted after transformation is used to choose and activate unlocked powers.

Hunter Training
Hunters develop through missions rather than the Blood Altar. Hunter Trainers appear in the world and request vampire teeth, blood, pure vampire blood, a Philosopher Stone, and other trophies. Completed assignments improve vigor, mana, mastery, and proficiency. These attributes affect physical strength and energy, magical reserves, weapon requirements, and access to specialized equipment or crafting. Version 4.7.4 corrects an issue that prevented hunter levels from increasing.
Syringes, Brewing, and Cures
A basic Syringe is crafted from iron and glass. Combining it with garlic creates the Garlic Syringe used for the hunter transformation. Garlic is also a real crop and a recurring material in the hunter branch.

The Vampire Witch can drop a Philosopher Stone. Brewing the stone with a water bottle produces Philosopher Water. Adding a Vampire Tooth creates a Vampire Cure, while a Werewolf Fang produces a Werewolf Cure. Each potion returns the corresponding transformed player to human form. Blood exists as partly filled bottles and a full bottle, and the final stage is required for the vampire side of the altar.
Creatures and Factions
Common vampires can appear throughout the world, while unique variants such as the Vampire Witch have distinct behavior and valuable drops. Werewolves are organized by color and strength: white variants are the most common and weakest, blue-gray werewolves are stronger, and black werewolves are the rarest and most dangerous.

Human forces include ordinary roaming hunters, royal guards that protect settlements, church hunters, priests, and trainers. Their equipment and allegiances make encounters different from ordinary hostile mobs. Vampires, werewolves, and hunters are connected to the player's progression, because their drops, quests, and special items open new abilities and recipes.
The Black Forest and Structures
The Black Forest is the easiest place to find vampires and werewolves. At night it has a high concentration of monsters and generated structures, making it dangerous but rewarding. The add-on also supports an artificial version of the biome created through the Environment Vampirizer, which changes nearby vegetation and creature activity across an area.

World generation includes small hunter camps, two-story hunter houses, cemeteries with hidden elements, and dark underground rooms. Camps provide direct contact with hunters, houses combine living space with crops and basic supplies, and cemeteries appear in more than one environment.
Equipment and Building Blocks
The equipment set includes the Vampire Sword, Werewolf Claws, Eclipse Armor, Moonstone and Sunstone materials, and an Eclipse Ingot. Specialized blocks include the Blood Altar, Recharging Altar, coffins for daytime rest, garlic crops, and a meat grinder. Separate skill items manage the abilities of vampires, werewolves, and hunters.

Changes in Version 4.7.4
This release adds custom textures for spawn eggs and a status button, refreshes the appearance of several items, and updates items, blocks, and particles for Render Dragon. It also fixes hunter progression and stops vampires from attacking one another.
How to install the add-on
Download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file, open it with Minecraft and wait for the import to finish. Then enable the resource and behavior packs in the world settings. If the add-on requires experiments, turn them on before launching the world.
