Addon: Gates of Mythos: Kemet
Author: Astralina
Gates of Mythos begins a series of historical and mythological dimensions with Kemet, a world inspired by Ancient Egypt. Entry requires more than a normal portal frame: players craft special sandstone parts, assemble a ritual obelisk in the Overworld and activate its core with the Eye of Horus.

Kemet contains dunes, oases, sandstorms, new foods and creatures drawn from desert wildlife and mythology. Mummies, giant mummies, venomous cobras and packs of Soul Jackals threaten travelers. Jackals can be befriended, Nile crocodiles are tameable with the Relic of Sobek, and hippos and falcons populate the environment.

Ammit roams the Nile as a powerful boss whose remains unlock armor and a battle hammer. Anubis is the final encounter and rewards the player with his staff and armor.

The project is at an early stage. Villages, merchants, dungeons, structures and additional biome systems are planned, while existing creatures and items may gain more behavior. No experimental features are required.
How to install the add-on
Download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file, open it with Minecraft and wait for the import to finish. Then enable the resource and behavior packs in the world settings. If the add-on requires experiments, turn them on before launching the world.
