Addon: Phoenix Family 2.5

Author: dharkcraft

Phoenix Family 2.5 replaces simple village life with human NPCs who remember actions, develop relationships and take on useful roles. Conversations, gifts, missions and protection raise reputation, while attacks and divorce reduce it. Personality influences how each character reacts to jokes, hugs, stories, flirting and other interactions.

NPCs can wander, wait, follow the player, trade and ride horses or camels. Love points unlock marriage, after which a partner can remember a home, return to it, wear equipment, protect the player and work in a profession.

Farmer, miner, librarian, fletcher, cleric, taco chef, cartographer, toolsmith, fisherman and shepherd jobs have distinct functions and missions. Workers can farm, locate ores, duplicate enchanted books, hunt, cure rotten flesh, cook, repair tools, fish, explore and handle sheep.

The family system includes pregnancy, babies, children and teenagers. Young family members have needs that pause growth until they receive food, toys, schoolwork or other care. A family register assigns relatives, while a locator can return lost family members.

The Golden package is the standard edition used here. It supports NPC relationships without replacing the player definition. The alternative Diamond edition adds player-to-player marriage but modifies player behavior, so it is not used for this publication.

Version 2.5 expands appearance combinations, dialogue variety, custom villages, guards, gravestones, cushions and administrator options. Humanoids can be fed, hired guards protect settlements, and many timing, marriage and reputation settings can be adjusted for a world.

Recent additions connect the relationship systems to custom villages, visible reputation, configurable administration, hired guards and graves that preserve an NPC's name after death.

How to install the add-on
Download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file, open it with Minecraft and wait for the import to finish. Then enable the resource and behavior packs in the world settings. If the add-on requires experiments, turn them on before launching the world.
