Addon: Dynamic Health Bar Indicator
Author: shadowcatstudios
Dynamic Health Bar Indicator places a clean heart counter above nearby mobs and players. The value updates immediately after damage or healing and remains below an existing custom name.

The system reads health directly instead of editing every entity definition. This allows it to support vanilla creatures and custom mobs from other add-ons while preserving their models, textures and animations. Only entities near a player are processed, reducing unnecessary load in busy worlds.

World settings can hide player bars, move the readout to the action bar, choose between permanent, proximity and look-at display modes, set a range from 4 to 64 blocks, hide full-health values and color the counter according to remaining health.

Both the behavior and resource packs must be active. The add-on needs Bedrock 1.21.80 or newer but no experimental options.
How to install the add-on
Download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file, open it with Minecraft and wait for the import to finish. Then enable the resource and behavior packs in the world settings. If the add-on requires experiments, turn them on before launching the world.
