Addon: Better Biomes
Author: MrsTrader
Better Biomes redesigns natural world generation with original regions and richer versions of familiar terrain.

New biomes include the mossy Azalea Forest, aquatic Coralrest Cove, purple Jacaranda Grove, surprisingly green Lushy Desert and hazardous Sulfur Wastes. Vanilla beaches receive palms and coconuts; deserts and mesas gain cacti, bones and eroded caves; snowy areas contain giant icicles and frozen ores. Savannas grow baobabs, while swamps continue underground through dense cave vegetation.

Smaller details-crystals, stones, pebbles, sand waves and hundreds of decorative natural blocks-make transitions and empty terrain more convincing.

Several features are interactive. Clams may contain pearls, coconuts can be harvested and split with an axe, frozen ore must be freed from ice, custom leaves decay after the trunk is removed, and treasure boxes found in ruins or shipwrecks can be opened for loot.

The add-on is designed as a broad exploration overhaul rather than a collection of isolated decorative biomes.
How to install the add-on
Download the .mcaddon or .mcpack file, open it with Minecraft and wait for the import to finish. Then enable the resource and behavior packs in the world settings. If the add-on requires experiments, turn them on before launching the world.
