Addon: Ascendant Mastery - Twelve-Skill Progression

Ascendant: Mastery turns ordinary survival actions into a persistent role-playing progression system. Instead of using every item immediately, the player develops twelve separate skills, earns XP and skill points, and gradually qualifies for stronger equipment, resources and activities.

Character development

  • Health, Strength, Agility, Defense and Stamina cover survival, melee power and mobility.
  • Luck, Archery and Trade improve rewards, ranged combat and villager interaction.
  • Smithing, Mining, Farming and Alchemy govern crafting, gathering and brewing.
  • Every skill has twenty levels and keeps its progress between sessions.

Levels influence damage, maximum health, hunger, movement, crops, ore collection, trading, forging and potion work. Equipment, blocks, entities, ores, ingredients and smithing recipes may each require a particular skill. Restricted ores still break but do not drop resources. Locked brewing ingredients cannot be picked up or stored, and equipment lore clearly marks unmet conditions in red.

The requirement system can combine several skills. Spears check Agility and Strength together, and Netherite equipment requires Smithing in addition to its normal combat requirement. Continuous unlock lists in the interface explain what becomes available at every level, reducing guesswork during progression.

The Ascendant Book Every player receives the book on the first join and after respawning. It opens the main interface with skill levels, XP, available points and unlock lists. A replacement can be crafted from an ordinary book, and /asc:mastery opens the same menu. Existing legacy progression is migrated automatically.

Administration and extensions Commands allow administrators to set a skill level, grant progression XP and inspect persistence or extension health. A Script Event API lets other packs register custom requirements for items, blocks, entities, mining, brewing and smithing, after which that content can appear in the normal unlock lists.

Compatibility Mastery changes minecraft:player to implement skill-based health. Another addon that replaces the same player definition may conflict unless both definitions are merged. Ascendant: Sustenance can run as an optional companion, while Ascendant: Vocation expands this core system with professions.

The download combines the current 1.0.3 behavior-pack hotfix with the matching published resource pack. Activate both parts in the same world. The hotfix corrects a case where the Mastery interface could disappear after returning from another Ascendant tab.
