Addon: A Quiet Place by GOJIDRAW

A Quiet Place brings a silent apocalypse to Minecraft. An alien invasion has filled the world with Death Angels that hunt by sound, kill living creatures and use their biomass to spread a fungus that gradually transforms the environment.

Death Angels

Death Angels are blind but detect noise from far away. They are almost invulnerable, deal devastating damage and can interfere with nearby redstone. Staying close causes Fear. Water is their natural weakness: they cannot survive underwater and eventually drown.

Players can throw snowballs, arrows or tridents to lure a creature away. Hearing Aids and powerful Speakers temporarily incapacitate it. Sneaking and wearing Wool Shoes reduce movement noise and make exploration safer.

Death Angels collect biomass and cultivate alien fungus. If one is defeated, its Carapace can be used for strong armor and weapons. Fungus Spores provide food but also apply harmful effects.

Queen Death Angel

The Queen is the leader and source of the invasion. She begins appearing with her army when the Quiet Apocalypse starts, spreads spores and calls smaller Death Angels to her. Only one Queen can naturally exist in a world.

Defeating the Queen ends the apocalypse: Death Angels stop spawning naturally. Her head drops as a rare trophy proving that the world was reclaimed.

The addon is demanding and may cause lag on low-end devices. Mid-range or high-end hardware is recommended.
