Verity is a horror addon for Minecraft Bedrock where a mysterious creature named Verity first appears as a friendly companion, and later becomes a real threat.

When you first enter the world, a strange box appears near the player. Once opened, it releases Verity — a creature that can follow you, stay in place, and react to your actions. But if you treat her cruelly or act aggressively, Verity changes and becomes a dangerous stalker.

This addon makes survival much more tense and atmospheric: at night, eerie sounds surround the player, you begin to feel constantly watched, and Verity’s monstrous form can observe from a distance, stalk you in the dark, and trigger jumpscare attacks.

The addon also includes a friendly companion version of Verity that can be tamed. She follows the player, and with interaction you can make her stay in place or follow you again.

One of the main mechanics is the anger system. If you hit Verity or act cruelly around her, she becomes hostile and transforms into her monstrous form.

To survive, the player can use the **Camera** and **Flashlight**. The camera temporarily blinds and stuns the monster, while the flashlight grants night vision when held.

The addon also includes:
- crafting recipes for the camera and flashlight;
- custom animations;
- spawn sounds and jumpscare sounds;
- nighttime horror events;
- simple chat responses;
- test and reset commands.

Crafting Recipes:

**Camera**  
Iron Ingots + Redstone + Glass Pane

**Flashlight**  
Iron Ingots + Glowstone Dust

**Commands:**
- `!reset` — reset addon progress and entities
- `!spawnbox` — manually spawn the box
- `!spawn` — manually spawn monstrous Verity
