Lifecycle

Ovamorph
Egg-like organisms that are the only naturally spawning stage. They appear in caves and open when any creature is near, preserving a Facehugger for potentially thousands of years while waiting for a host.

Facehugger
Parasite whose sole task is to infect a host. It lunges and implants an embryo on hit. Once infected, there’s no cure—only time until the next stage.

Chestburster
When the host dies, a small snake-like juvenile emerges. It is skittish and avoids threats, but will soon mature—eliminate it before it grows.

Drone
The adult baseline Xenomorph. Treat every Drone like a mini-boss: high damage, health, and speed. A single Drone can start a hive using eggmorphing—after it kills a creature, it selects a spot (or existing hive) and begins placing eggs. Drones can also evolve further.

Evolution and variants

Warrior
Occasionally a Drone evolves into a Warrior: tougher and deadlier, built to guard nests and exterminate intruders. Warriors cannot build hives or place eggs.

Runner
Faster but weaker variant that emerges from animal hosts (cows, spiders, wolves, pigs, etc.). Scouts of the hive.

Boiler
Rare kamikaze xeno born from creepers (hard to obtain since creepers explode before infection). Useless for hive building and egg placement, but devastating on contact—detonates to kill you and itself. If one reaches you, expect to die.

Colonial Marines
Neutral soldiers that can spawn in the world; recruit with emeralds. You can also craft Colonial Marine armor along with the M41A Pulse Rifle and M9 Pistol.
