Addon: Ruby & Relic

• Ruby Sword → Diamond-tier sword that grants Strength II for 7s after a mob kill (with cooldown).

• Ruby Pickaxe → Extremely durable, fast on stone but ineffective on deepslate & ores.

• Ruby Shovel → Faster than Netherite Efficiency III on dirt, but useless on sand.

• Ruby Axe → Right-click ability Weight of the Dead: freezes mobs & players in a 6-block radius, but prevents you from attacking during the effect.

• Ruby Hoe → Durable but experimental (will get a unique role in a future update).

Ruby Armor

• Complete set unlocks the Guardian of the Ruby ability: when dropping to 4 hearts or less, you gain Resistance II, Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, and now Invisibility for 5s.

• Long cooldown ensures this is a rare “second chance” ability rather than a spammable buff.

Ender Tools

• Ender Pearl Launcher → Crafted with Ruby, sticks & ender pearls. Shoots Micro-Ender Pearls to teleport and grants 5s invisibility.

• Micro-Ender Pearl → Crafted with 4 ender pearls → 16 micro pearls.

Ruby Blocks & Generation

• Ruby Ore → Spawns rarely in caves (stone & deepslate variants).

• Ruby Block → Storage & decoration.

Balance & Design Philosophy

• Tools and armor cannot be enchanted → instead, they come with special magical properties.

• Every piece of Ruby gear is strong but situational, encouraging smart usage instead of brute force.

• Designed to fit vanilla survival progression: Ruby is rarer than diamond, but not game-breaking.

Update 1.1.0

• Ruby Armor textures reworked for a more polished and immersive look.

• Added Guardian of the Ruby ability with survival-friendly buffs.

• Ruby Armor is now included in the Ancient Book lore system.

Balance Update

• Ruby Sword → Cooldown for Strength ability increased to 15s.

• Ruby Axe (Weight of the Dead) → Now has a 1-minute cooldown.

• Guardian of the Ruby (full Ruby Armor ability) → Cooldown increased to 1 hour for balance.

• Guardian of the Ruby now also grants 5s of Invisibility alongside Resistance II, Fire Resistance & Water Breathing.
