Addon: Abandoned & Ruin Structures

Abandoned & Ruin Structures adds dozens of locations to the Overworld, Nether and End. Small discoveries appear comparatively often, while castles, forts and other large landmarks remain rare enough to feel valuable.

World generation

Structures are tied to suitable biomes and terrain. Some stand on the surface, others are hidden underground or on the ocean floor. Many locations have several layout variants and can contain loot chests, barrels, ores, monster spawners or trial spawners.

The collection includes abandoned houses and chapels, towers, castles, tombs, caves, camps, jungle shrines, ocean ships, Nether strongholds and End structures. Wooden huts also appear in material variants that match their surroundings.

Current generation uses improved placement rules to reduce collisions and prevent large buildings from appearing too close together. Jigsaw-based structures blend more naturally into terrain, while chest and barrel loot has been balanced for survival.

Compatibility and settings

Three subpack settings control normal, reduced or increased structure frequency. The locations can also be found in Creative mode with the locate command and their identifiers. The add-on does not replace player.json, works on multiplayer servers and Realms, and is intended to remain compatible with most other add-ons.

The current release requires Minecraft Bedrock 26.40 or newer.
