It Learns builds a personal horror experience around your habits. Several entities observe how you react, where you travel and which scares make you stop or flee. Their behavior adapts separately for each player in single-player and multiplayer worlds.

Stalking, imitation and whispers
Thin figures peek around trees, windows and cliffs, move when you look away and disappear when watched closely. Voices come from the entities themselves. Unwritten journal pages describe your routine; abandoned items may return near your bed or door. A player-shaped copy can repeat your path, carry your item and display a familiar name.
Songs and escalating encounters
When you are alone, deep underground or in bed, distorted lullabies may emerge from the darkness: music-box sounds, toy piano, humming and warped voices. Encounters also include minigames, unsettling sky effects and imitation achievement messages reacting to what just happened. These messages are part of the horror, not real game achievements.
Adjust the intensity
Stronger scenes wait until about 20 minutes of play, games until 30, and the most intense events until an hour. The journal settings can disable gore, sky scares, possession, conversations, lullabies and jumpscares. Vein Miner, Tree Capitator and Dynamic Lights are included as additional utility features. Beta APIs are not required.
