Dynamic Structure Physics makes unsupported blocks and parts of buildings fall as physical objects. Removing a foundation can cause a structure to break into moving pieces instead of leaving its upper blocks floating in the air.

Dynamic Structure Physics - 1

Materials and collisions

Different materials react differently to impact. Fragile dirt, leaves and glass can shatter in a hard collision, while sturdier stone, wood and metal remain as chunks. Leaves can float on water. The falling pieces interact with their surroundings rather than simply disappearing when the supporting block is removed.

The current update lets players stand, walk and jump on physical blocks. Blocks from the inventory can be placed on or beside these moving pieces. C4 and a remote detonator provide another way to trigger a collapse, making the addon useful for destruction experiments and physics-based builds.

An in-game settings item controls the balance between quality and performance. The simulation limits the size and number of active bodies to reduce the load. Test large collapses away from valuable buildings and use a copy of an established world: removing supports can now have consequences beyond a single block.
