Random Additions Classic broadens Minecraft in a vanilla-like style with building materials, equipment, creatures, caves and structures. It is an exploration and survival expansion rather than a single-purpose item pack.

Blocks and equipment
New decorative blocks, vegetation and workstations support building and crafting. Food, keys, artifacts, weapons, tools and armor provide reasons to collect unfamiliar resources. The in-game guidebook explains the available features and helps connect discoveries to their uses.

Creatures and underground exploration
Meet creatures such as the Muppet, the helpful Follower and the dangerous Crackling. Luminous Caves and Garnet Caves change underground exploration, alongside new ores and archaeology content.

Other dimensions and structures
The End gains Papylloume Forest and Perennial Chorus Fields, with Endslate and End Moss materials. Nether biomes also receive changes. Structures across the dimensions include Pale Bunkers, Crystal Cells, Blaze Towers and Shulker Shelters, each adding places to investigate.

The 2.3.1 release develops the guidebook, pale campfire and soul sandstone content and adjusts baby creature models. Use the guide while exploring because the addon combines many independent systems. Keep a backup when upgrading an existing world with custom blocks.

The expanded world links exploration with crafting: cave ores and archaeology supply resources, structures provide destinations and dimension-specific materials give new building palettes. The guidebook is particularly useful because building blocks, creatures and progression items are not all part of one linear quest.
