Fiery Combat rebuilds player combat around timing, positioning and deliberate attacks. Different weapon types have their own pace and reach, making the choice of equipment matter beyond its basic damage value.

The poise system determines whether a fighter can continue an action after taking a hit. Blocking and well-timed parries create defensive openings, while simultaneous attacks can clash instead of always passing through one another.

Directional rolls provide a short evasive movement with brief invulnerability. Player settings control input behavior, camera movement and visual indicators, allowing the combat presentation to be adjusted without removing its skill-based mechanics.

The available settings help adapt camera and input feedback while preserving the central emphasis on reading an opponent and choosing the right moment.
