Addon: Bob Golems+

Bob Golems+ adds about 50 defensive golems made from ordinary Minecraft materials.

Build a T-shaped body from the chosen blocks and place a Golem Head on top. New golems defend villages and bases like iron golems, but each material changes health, damage and special abilities. Examples include crop-boosting Straw, water-absorbing Sponge, glowing Sea Lantern, teleporting Endstone, explosive TNT and extremely durable Netherite or Bedrock golems.

Damaged golems show cracked textures and can be repaired with their matching material.

Available materials include bone, magma, diamond, emerald, gold, lapis, obsidian, glass, every log type, straw, glowstone, endstone, sponge, TNT, coal, bedrock, stained glass, redstone, packed ice, slime, prismarine, red sandstone, sea lantern, honey, dried kelp, brick, crimson and warped stems, crying obsidian, netherite, amethyst, ancient debris, sculk and sculk catalyst.

Examples of special behavior include setting enemies on fire, crop growth, nearby light, random teleportation, water absorption, explosions, redstone power, freezing water or lava, knockback, blindness and splitting into smaller golems. The rare Blood Golem is connected to giving a wither rose to an iron golem.

Golems can now be formed in the world with the familiar cross shape and a matching material. Their cracked texture shows damage, and giving the same building material repairs them.
