Nightmare Overload is a horror survival modpack for Minecraft Bedrock that turns the ordinary Overworld into a tense place with thick fog, abandoned structures, dangerous encounters and creatures appearing in forests, caves, oceans and darkness beyond torchlight.

The pack creates constant tension without breaking the core survival experience. Players still explore, gather loot, survive nights and build protection, but every trip becomes more dangerous because of sounds, shadows, fog and sudden hunters.

Recommendations

For the best effect, the author recommends playing with headphones, increasing render distance if the device can handle it, avoiding full brightness and night vision, and choosing survival mode. With those settings, every sound can be a warning, every shadow can be a threat and every ocean dive can be the last one.
