Addon: Goblin Traders Definitive Edition

Goblin Traders Definitive Edition expands Minecraft Bedrock with rare merchants found across different dimensions and biomes. The addon builds on the Java Goblin Traders concept while adding Bedrock-focused trades, RPG progression, companions, reputation and exploration systems.

Players can search for merchants in the Overworld, Nether, End and Pale Garden. Each trader type offers different resources, rare items and rewards, making exploration more valuable and rare encounters more exciting.

What is new in version 2.3

The 2.3 update focuses on new traders and companions. It adds the Pale Garden Curator, Goblin Wayfinder and a fully interactive Goblin Adventurer with RPG mechanics.

Pale Garden Curator is a rare merchant exclusive to the Pale Garden, offering trades based on pale oak, resin, eyeblossoms and the Creaking Heart;
Creaking Ward helps when nearby players are attacked: hostile creatures are trapped in resin, expelled away and players receive temporary protection;
Goblin Wayfinder helps mark important locations and creates a visible trail back to the selected destination;
Goblin Adventurer is an interactive companion with quests, dialogue, reputation, gifts and the ability to follow and fight alongside the player.

Quests and relationships

The Goblin Adventurer uses its own quest system. Players can complete hunting, gathering and exploration objectives for special rewards.

The dialogue system includes more than 50 conversations, while reputation progresses through five relationship tiers from Stranger to Trusted Ally. Gifts improve friendship, unlock more interaction and let players recruit the Adventurer as a companion who follows and helps in combat.

Wayfinder and waypoints

The Goblin Wayfinder is useful for exploration. Its navigation interface lets players manage waypoints and choose a destination to return to.

After a destination is selected, the addon creates a visible particle path leading back to it. This is handy for mines, distant bases, portals, structures and any valuable location that can be easy to lose while travelling.

Trader lineup

Normal Goblin - classic trades, resources and enchanted equipment;
Desert Goblin - desert materials, rarities and exclusive items;
Badlands Goblin - powerful golden tools with high-level enchantments;
Pale Garden Curator - pale oak, resin, eyeblossoms and Creaking Heart trades;
Nether Goblins - rare potions, Nether resources, enchanted netherite equipment and valuable treasures;
End Goblins - chorus fruit, shulker supplies, enchanted equipment and End-exclusive rewards.

Best for

The addon fits survival, RPG packs, adventure worlds and servers. Merchants make biome and dimension exploration more rewarding, while companions add goals, interaction and progression.
