Addon: [RED] SecurityCraft

RED SecurityCraft is an unofficial SecurityCraft port for Minecraft Bedrock, inspired by the popular Java mod. The addon adds security blocks and systems that help protect bases in survival and multiplayer worlds.

The main idea is to give base owners more control: protect blocks from explosions and other players, open doors with signals, place cameras, turrets, mines and laser systems.

Important

RED SecurityCraft requires the Beta APIs experimental feature. Without it, some security systems may not work properly.

Reinforced blocks

Universal Block Reinforcer turns normal blocks into reinforced versions. There are three reinforcer levels: basic, stronger and more expensive, and a super expensive infinite-durability option.

Reinforced blocks resist explosions and cannot be broken by unauthorized players. These blocks can only be removed with the Universal Block Remover, and only by the owner.

Doors and access

Reinforced Iron Door works like a normal iron door powered by redstone, but it is protected from breaking and explosions. Scanner Iron Door automatically opens when its owner looks at it.

Retinal Scanner emits a redstone signal when the owner looks at it. Keypad is placed on a Keypad Frame and activates after the correct password is entered, making it useful for doors, mechanisms and secure rooms.

Storage and turrets

Reinforced Chest asks the owner to set a password when placed. Anyone who knows the password can access the chest, but only the owner can remove it with the Universal Block Remover.

Sentry Turret automatically attacks targets within range. It supports Camouflage, Aggressive and Idle modes, plus target types for monsters, players or both. The turret can be configured directly or controlled remotely with Sentry Remote Access.

Cameras, mines and lasers

Security Camera lets players watch their base from far away. To use it, the camera must be linked to a Camera Monitor.

Mines trigger when a player or mob steps on them. They can be defused with Wire Cutters and armed again with Flint and Steel. The owner can link a mine to Mine Remote Access for remote management.

Laser Block creates a laser between two blocks. The laser does nothing on its own, but gains functions through modules added with the Universal Block Modifier.

• Reinforced Blocks now obstruct chests from being opened, except Reinforced Glass and other small blocks;
• fixed the incorrect permission level message for the /settings command;
• added the Creative Breaking setting;
• added the Mines Explosion Power setting;
• fixed a duplication glitch caused by moving a Reinforced Chest with a Reinforce Piston;
• fixed a bug that allowed players to become owners of waterloggable security blocks with a water bucket;
• fixed the Camouflage Module staying in the world after breaking the block below a Sentry;
• fixed some display entities being dragged by water and falling through the floor.
