What is Blockbench?

Blockbench is a free modeling program. It can be used to create models for Minecraft, as well as models for other projects. Blockbench provides tools to simplify low-poly 3D modeling.
Blockbench is free and open source. Use cubes for a Minecraft style, or create your own low-poly models with the modeling tools!
Texturing tools
Create, edit and paint textures directly in the program. Create or import palettes, paint, and draw shapes.
Blockbench can generate UV maps and templates for your model so you can start texturing right away.
Animation
Blockbench includes a powerful animation editor. Set up your model, then use keyframes, rotation and scaling to bring it to life. Refine your work in the graph editor.
Animations can then be exported to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, processed in Blender or Maya or published on Sketchfab.
