Michael Myers turns an ordinary Minecraft location into a hunting ground. His behavior combines a slow approach, a faster pursuit, sudden repositioning and a false defeat. The recognizable mask, knife, body animations and dedicated sounds support encounters in custom horror maps as well as manually arranged survival challenges.

Halloween: Michael Myers

How the hunt works

Myers searches for players, villagers and iron golems within sixty-four blocks. He speeds up when he acquires a target. At close range, the nearest player is affected by darkness and hears a heartbeat, making the killer's approach noticeable before direct contact.

Sustained observation from roughly eight to thirty blocks builds toward a rage attack. Myers then gains a temporary speed and strength boost, accompanied by loud sounds, while the target is briefly slowed. If a player is looking away at a distance of twelve to twenty-eight blocks, the killer can move behind them when there is a clear space to stand. This teleport has a cooldown.

He can open and break doors and switches to crawling beneath a low ceiling. Fire, falling and ordinary knockback are poor ways to stop him. Close contact can start an animated grab with blindness, camera shake and a jumpscare; the finishing sequence can kill the captured victim.

False death and a musical distraction

The enemy has four hundred health points. The first time his health reaches two hundred or less, he collapses for ten seconds and becomes temporarily immune to damage. He then gets up again. This is a one-time false-death phase, so a fallen Myers does not necessarily mean the encounter is over.

A playing jukebox nearby provides an unexpected interruption: Myers stops to dance, with musical-note particles appearing above him. While the record is detected, his stalking and rage counters reset. Once the music stops or he is no longer near it, his normal behavior returns.

Trophies and equipment

The loot table contains a knife and the Michael Myers Mask. The knife is a melee weapon. The mask fits the head armor slot and displays a mask-shaped screen overlay when worn. It does not add an armor protection bonus. Both items are available in the creative equipment category, and no crafting recipes are included for them.

Starting an encounter

Use /summon hv:myers with cheats enabled to place the killer in your world. The supplied version does not create natural spawns. For direct access to the equipment, use /give @s hv:knife and /give @s hv:mask. Switch to Survival or Adventure for the special stalking effects, because those scripts ignore Creative and Spectator players.
