Farming 3D expands farming with modeled crops, custom workbenches, watering and a wandering seed trader. Grow a farm from your first purchased seed bags and then produce your own planting supplies.
Workbenches and planting
The Workbench crafts addon items as well as ordinary crafting-table recipes. The Farmers Workbench specializes in farming items, including seed bags once your farm is established. Craft both benches using the recipes shown here.
Use a hoe on grass to make farmland, then water it with a watering can. Wet farmland grows crops 2.5 times faster than dry farmland. Crops use new or updated 3D models and develop as the farm grows.
Finding seeds
A Wandering Farmer appears about 20 blocks from a Wandering Trader. Exchange wheat for seed bags. His offers change every ten minutes and prices vary, so a later selection may be more favorable.
Experimental features are not required, and achievements remain available. Pumpkins, melons and other crops gain more detailed models for a visually different farm.
