Wild dragons
Untamed dragons attack from a distance with fireballs. Their attacks can start fires and cause small explosions, making a direct approach risky. Look for both dragons and eggs while exploring.
Hatching and taming
Ignite a dragon egg with flint and steel to begin hatching. In the current release the process takes about one minute. Cooked chicken, beef or porkchops can be used to tame a dragon.
Taking flight
Raise your dragon and equip a saddle to ride it. Look up or down to control the direction of flight as you travel. The current release requires Minecraft 26.50 or newer; activate both packs before entering the world.
