Better Beaches transforms coastlines with tropical wildlife, palm trees, decorative treasures, food systems and naturally generated structures.

Crabs spawn in several colors and four sizes. They avoid danger, pick up fish, defend themselves when attacked and drop crab food. Beaches also contain shells, starfish, sandwaves, small sandstone rocks and coconuts that split into edible halves when broken with an axe.

The palm wood family includes logs, stripped wood, planks and slabs. Seven palm designs generate naturally with falling leaf particles.

The wall-mounted Food Dryer preserves cod, salmon, crab and shrimp. The underwater Seabound Trap uses raw fish as bait and automatically catches seafood and fish.

Bottles with notes may contain explorer maps to treasure, monuments, mansions, villages and other structures. Beach houses, palm houses, lighthouses and sea houses generate along the coast.

Fisherman villager trades have five progression tiers and include the new coastal resources.
