Addon: Rise and Survive

Rise and Survive is a hardcore Minecraft Bedrock addon about a progression-based zombie apocalypse. A difficulty bar increases every day, raising zombie spawn rates and making zombies stronger over time.

Every eight days, zombies move faster, grow stronger and may unlock new abilities. Higher difficulty also increases the chance of zombies spawning with armor, weapons and potion effects. Vanilla hostile mobs are disabled, but their loot can be obtained by killing zombies.

Zombie Classes

• Miner Zombies break blocks to reach the player;
• Block Placer Zombies tower up and bridge toward high places;
• Witch Zombies throw and drink potions;
• Bomber Zombies throw damage-only TNT;
• Ender Zombies teleport with ender pearls;
• Jumpers leap at players and onto blocks;
• Crawlers move through small spaces;
• Revealers scream to expose the player's location;
• Spitters attack from range.

Hordes and Blood Moon

Blood Moon occurs every eight days. During the event, sleep is disabled, zombies always know where the player is, and horde events can happen nearby. Horde size scales with difficulty and can be customized in settings.

Survival Systems

• zombies can infect players on hit;
• infection chance can be customized from 0 to 100 percent;
• infected players collapse after the timer;
• Golden Apple is the only cure;
• horns and bells attract zombies instantly;
• taking damage releases blood scent detectable up to 10 blocks;
• gunpowder can be crafted from coal and iron nuggets;
• high-quality loot structures appear in the world.

Defense and Weapons

The addon adds wired fences, cheval fences, wired walls, chain fences, spiked plates and spiked fences to help control hordes. New weapons include bolo, katana, dagger, saber, longsword and hammer. Rotten flesh also becomes useful through a raw flesh to cooked flesh to leather progression.
