Getting Spider-Man powers

Oscorp laboratories generate in forests, deserts, savannas and snowy biomes. Each laboratory contains a workbench and has a chance to hold a radioactive-spider capsule. Use the capsule and equip the powers in the leg slot.

Movement and Spider-Sense

Spider-Man can swing on webs, crawl vertically, wall-run, leap away from surfaces, crawl on the ground and ceiling and surf across water. Spider-Sense warns about nearby danger with sound and directional particles. Scan reveals enemies through blocks. Movement and Spider-Sense options can be adjusted in the settings menu.

Combat skills

The skill menu includes Air Punch, Air Kick and Spinning Strike. Air attacks launch enemies and allow aerial combinations, while the spinning strike damages a group around the player.

Focus and upgrades

Focus is earned in combat. A full default bar can activate a finishing move, while smaller amounts provide quick or gradual healing. Upgrades raise health, stamina and Focus capacity. The Area Web Shot ultimate requires 200 Focus. Each upgrade point costs 10 experience levels at the laboratory table.

Miles Morales

Miles uses the same movement foundation but has a separate ability set. Venom Punch, Venom Explosion and Venom Jump launch enemies and apply electric damage. Invisibility is activated through the Scan menu and uses its own charge bar. His 200-Focus ultimate creates a powerful Venom Explosion.

Laboratory table and suits

The Oscorp laboratory table crafts web shooters, web wings, Iron Spider mechanical arms, combat accessories and many suits. Recipes use materials such as fabric, nanotechnology, spray cans and lenses. Some equipment is locked behind hero levels, which rise through ordinary experience gained from mining, cooking and combat.

Villain equipment

Players can obtain or craft powers and accessories based on Green Goblin, Electro, Scorpion, Mysterio, Boomerang, Doctor Octopus and Shocker. Some components come from defeated villains.

Symbiote progression

A symbiote can be captured in a special capsule and used to turn the player into its host. The symbiote menu tracks levels, activates abilities, crafts the suit and changes its color.

Taskmaster challenges

Challenge boxes generate around the world. Complete five challenges to receive a reward and unlock a final battle against Taskmaster.

Joe's Pizza

Find the pizzeria, talk to the manager and deliver orders to marked customers. Return after each delivery for payment. Completing a full shift of up to ten orders gives a larger reward.

Crime patrols

Craft a police scanner at the laboratory table and start a patrol. Crime coordinates appear when an event begins. Stop every criminal before they escape to receive an evidence box with experience and useful components.

Black Cat and Punisher

Black Cat appears at night and may steal a diamond from a nearby player, beginning a chase. Catch her before she escapes and later recruit her with an Avengers card. Punisher can also join the team at his taiga hideout, where his truck can be found.

World structures

The Daily Bugle contains J. Jonah Jameson, who pays for Spider-Man photographs. Other locations include Black Cat's treasure bunker, prisoner camps, a taiga prison with Kingpin and ninjas, Oscorp laboratories, neighborhoods with Boomerang and Tarantula, Joe's Pizza and Punisher's hideout.

Symbiote nests

Dangerous nests generate in birch forests. Knull's symbiotes guard them and attack nearby players. Defeated symbiotes may drop material or be captured for the progression system.
