Sanity Addon introduces a fascinating mechanic to your game: sanity. This reflects your in-game character’s mental well-being. Just like monitoring health and hunger bars, maintaining high sanity levels is vital for survival. Failing to do so may have drastic consequences, including fatal outcomes.
Sanity Mechanics
Light Levels (20s/c)
- LL >= 13: 3 sanity
- LL >= 10: 2 sanity
- LL >= 8: 1 sanity
- LL == 7: -1 sanity
- LL == 6: -2 sanity
- LL == 5: -3 sanity
- LL <= 4: -4 sanity
Food Quality (u/i)
- High: 10 sanity
- Medium: 5 sanity
- Raw: -5 sanity
- Low: -10 sanity
Flower Inv: (12s/c)
- If the player has a flower in their inventory they have a 40% chance of receiving 2 Sanity every 12s
Kill Mobs
- For each mob that the player kills, 2 sanity points will be taken away.
Take Damage:
- For each damage the player receives, the damage received will be subtracted from their sanity x2.
for example, if they suffered *10* points of damage they will be subtracted *20* sanity points
Change Dimension:
- When the player changes dimension, 20 sanity points will be subtracted
Wear Garland: (40s/c)
- If you equip a Garland in your helmet slot, the Garland will restore
10
points of sanity and subtract10
points of durability from it every 40s.
Nearby Mobs: (20s/c)
- When you have more than 10 monsters near you, it will begin to decrease 1 sanity for each monster up to a maximum of 20 monsters every 20s.
Life Increase:
- When health increases, for each point of health recovered, 2 sanity will be added
Respawn:
- When you do Respawn instead of recovering 100 sanity you will only recover 75
Sanity Events
Sanity < 40: (alucinations)
- Blindness
- Eye hallucinations
- Heart beats
- Murmurs
Sanity < 10: (Random Effect)
- slowness
- mining_fatigue
- nausea
- hunger
- weakness
- poison
- wither
- fatal_poison
Important
This addon uses player.json, so make sure you have it in preference of all addons in RP and BP
This addon doesn't use experimental modes
Supported Minecraft Versions
