The Taiga:
 
Pine Needles!

• Pine needles can only be found in the Taiga/Mega Taiga and works like the Cherry petals. To add layers make sure you are using the pine needles item.
• Pine needles can be used as fuel for half a block, and can be crafted into a block and wreath!
• Pine needles will occasionally drop pine nuts that can be crafted into better food

 


Cotton Tipped Grass - Use with a flint scraper in order to get string!

Blue Tipped Ferns - Get with shears!

Brown Tipped Grass - Only spawns on dirt, podzol, and other non-grass-related things

Holly  - Make Holly Candles and also Wreath

Mistletoe - Only found in trees and in rare amounts, you can use it for poison arrows and a poison-tipped sword! Also makes decorative blocks!

 Mud related Updates

• Mud now generates in the Taiga! Inside the mud you can find thawed and frosted mud!
• You can also find ice sheets occasionally on the mud and generating in other biomes.
• Icicles will also generate in most cold biomes! Including on Villages and pre-existing structures (like the trail ruins)
• Thin Ice, Be aware Ice may collapse when you step on it

Snow Plains/Ice Spikes 

• You'll find clumps of trees now and ice rocks generating
• You will find snowy azaleas and increased flower spawns
• More Permafrost, Also thin ice!

Arid Update🌵

Adds Desert and Mesa Foliage!

 

You can now get sticks out of mangrove roots with the flint scraper

Cactus can now be compressed into a Cactus Block

New bone sand block that generates in the desert! Can give bones and other items...

 
Salt:
Salt will now generate around the world in either stone ore form or sand ore form on the surface. You have to use a stone tool or above to get Pink Rock Salt.
 
Create Blocks and a lamp with pink rock salt!


Crush pink rock salt into powder to use on the drying table!
