Addon: Cave Enhancements

Welcome to the Goop Caves!

These sticky, gooey caves are filled with goop! The floors are infested with goop blocks and goop splats cover the surface. On the ceilings, strands of dripping goop hang from the ceiling and clumps of goop blocks struggle to hang on. The goop mob also sticks to the ceiling, every minute or so the goop mob drops a goop trap on the ground and, for any unlucky mobs or players who step on the trap will be completely paralyzed only hoping that they can jump out before mobs swarm them.

Mobs

Dripstone Tortoise

   Introducing the Dripstone Tortoise! This goliath dwells in the dripstone caves biome. These guys are obsessed with stomping and like to cause some stalagmites to pop out of the ground from time to time. They are neutral so, if you hit them those occasional stomps will because constant and target you. Also, if any nearby buddies see you hit one of their own, you'd be lucky to come out alive. When killed the entity offers a substantial XP reward, good luck and remember that these creatures aren't meant to be harmed.

Goop

   This creature is found hanging from the ceilings of the Goop Caves biome. Every few minutes the goop drips down a trap block with is placed directly under it. As stated previously, these traps when walked on will completely stun the player and any other mobs that wander on to it. The best way to counter these from placing more traps, you can break the block it's hanging on.

Cruncher

   This little guy can be found in the Lush Caves biome and loves Glow Berries! When you find them, they can be fed Glow Berries and will immediately start eating blocks below it randomly. Useful for all those times you need to dig straight down but aren't willing to take the risk. When you find them, they might be a bit mossy so don't forget to shear it off!

Glow Paste

   This, is the Glowing Paste item, a portable gooey light source created to give the Glowing Ink Sac a new use. When crafted you get the Glowing Paste that allows you to place 24 glowing splotches before destroying.

Spectacle Candle

   This gooey glow candle can be created with glowing ink sacs and gives night vision when the player is in radius of the block (make sure candle is lit). 1 candle gives night vision in a 3 block radius, 2 gives night vision in a 5 block radius, 3 gives night vision in a 7 block radius, and 4 gives night vision in a 9 block radius. 

Lighting Anchor

   This trap can be found in a structure within the Meadow Biome, when a lightning rod is placed above it and lightning strikes, the lightning is captured within the block. When the block has charge, it can be interacted with to create a shockwave that attacks anything in its' path. The block can also be activated with redstone to make any mechanical player's dream come true!

Amethyst Flute

   Introducing the Amethyst Flute! This item can be played to scare any incoming phantoms, furthermore this item also has a cooldown of 35 seconds before it can be activated again. The item can be used 64 times before breaking. Make sure your timing is right to scare away those pesky mobs!
