The thirst system works similarly to the Vanilla Hunger Bar, but healing does not require a full thirst bar. In other words, thirst doesn’t directly affect your healing. However, certain actions like mining blocks will slightly drain your hydration.

How to Get Hydrated?

• Drink potions of any kind.
• Drink from natural water sources by hitting the block underneath the water with empty hands while standing outside the water.

Be careful! Drinking dirty water will apply the Thirst Effect, causing dehydration to happen faster, and there's also a 10% chance of getting Poisoned. Always purify the water first!

How to Make Purified Water?

• Craft a Metallic Pot.
• Combine it with iron to create a Purifying Pot.
• Place the Purifying Pot above Lit Campfire.
• Fill it with water using Water Bottles or a Water Bucket.

The pot can hold up to 6 Bottles of Purified Water.

It takes around 45s to purify. If there's already purified water in the pot, remove it before adding more, or it will become dirty again.

Other Hydration Sources:

• Drinking Milk or Honey Bottles also restores hydration, both will remove the Thirst Effect if you have it.
• Eating [ Apple - Sweet Berries - Glow Berries - Beetroot Soup - Mushroom Stew - Rabbit Stew ] Will also restore some hydration.

Advanced Water Filter:

Once you’ve gathered enough resources, craft the Advanced Water Filter. This lets you drink safely from water sources by interacting with the block (not hitting it), similar to drinking dirty water.

• There’s still a small 3% chance of getting Poisoned.
• The filter can be used around 70 times before it breaks.

UI-Wrench:

When you join the world for the first time, you’ll receive a UI-Wrench item. Use it only if the thirst bar doesn’t display correctly.
