Addon: Sentinel Cameras

Sentinel Cameras is an add-on that adds a live camera system that allows players to craft their own Camera & Remote Terminal, link up the channel, then use it seemlessly.

Details:

Crafting:

Players can craft the Remote Terminal & Camera with regular crafting tables. The recipes can be unlocked though discovering eyes of ender

Claiming:

To prevent other players messing with your camera systems I’ve implemented a claiming system. To claim a camera simply give it a piece of paper, make sure it’s not already claimed. Only the player who claims it can open it’s control menu. Additionally you will receive a message in chat whenever one of your claimed cameras is destroyed, however if it’s un-named the name of it will be shown as “Unknown”, which I don’t know how to get around.

Channels:

Cameras can have their channel set to any number inside the minecraft integer limit, the channel can be changed with the dial buttons on the right of the control menu for. Upon changing the channel you will be given a chat message telling you the camera’s new current channel. Everything starts on channel 0 by default.

To change your player’s channel open the Remote Terminal’s control menu & use the channel buttons.

Colors:

Cameras can be dyed all 16 colors, to dye a camera simply take the dye then put it into the control menu then click the “Confirm color” button on the left side of the control menu.

Viewing Cameras:

In order to actually use a camera, link up a camera to the same channel that you are on. Once linked up, click the “View camera” button in the Terminal’s control menu, this will immediately put you into the perspective of the camera & display it’s channel near your hotbar. To exit a camera, there are 3 ways to do so: 1 - From the control menu, 2 - Drop the Remote Terminal item, 3 - Destroy the camera.

While in the perspective of a camera your player can still move around & interact with the world.

Signal Jamming:

Using the "Signal Jammer" item, players can blind all cameras in a 12 block radius, the effect lasts 10 seconds & the item has a 60 second cooldown.
